He liked it right away and wanted to carry it on his back. Great size bag, adjustable straps, removable leash, has a pocket to hold a sippy cup. I got him also Sunshine Kids Sure Steps Safety Strap at the same time. He didn't want even to put that on. Every time we tried to get him to put it on he cried. She even attempted to wiggle out of it - which she did get one arm out. However, once we used it at the fair she actually seemed to enjoy it. I told her that she had a choice of walking but would have to wear the backpack with Mommy holding the leash, or she could ride in a stroller. She chose to walk.
