I did a lot of research and have built my own desktops for years. The CPU in this laptop is the most powerful one under the $1000 range. It scored over 6500 on the Passmark CPU Benchmark, and was ranked 58 when i purchased. It is very fast. HD webcam, USB 3.0, card reader, HDMI out, WiDi if you use it.... the specs are there...I brought it into work and two of my coworkers also purchased this same laptop in the last month....they did their research independently and came to the same conclusion. It fits in case perfectly and it is the perfect size for travel and home use. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. We will see how it holds up over the next few years.

I got this laptop 1 month ago, I also bought a SSD (128gb) from amazon for this laptop. I really cant complain, laptop is faster. I like the keyboard, is my first laptop and the layout is similar to a desktop keyboard.

Probably the only cons is that Battery runs out in 2:30 hrs aprox, and screen is crystal not mate.

But I just paid 580dlls for this laptop, cant beat that deal for a good and fast laptop.

I also recommend to buy also a SSD for this laptop, you wont regreat it.

Machine is ok, fast. It has several advertised pre-installed softwares which are still ok for me. That's why it is cheap. But the loosen battery is very annoying.
