It comes without the earloop or headband attachments too, so make sure you save yours from your prior unit.Finally, it comes without instructions, so you will need to know how to synchronize it with your existing base. (Instructions follow at the end of this review). With all that said, I still gave it five stars, because *if* you want a replacement earboom, this is exactly what you need, and because the overall unit is great. I ordered it through an Amazon related business, even though it was about $10 over the lowest price I found on the Internet.(I was unfamiliar with the electronics store with the lowest price.)It worked like the original. The only hurdle, when I received it there were no instructions on how to program it to work with the original hand set lifter. I did find instructions on how to do it on the Plantronics website and was able to make it with my original set. Also if you need a replacement, keep the plastic ear pieces and head bands from the original.
